Program Engineering Lead
Reporting to the program manager, the Program Engineering Lead will be responsible for coordinating the day to day planning and engineering activities for all non-recurring engineering projects and engineering support to the production/products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate engineering tasks with multiple programs in a matrix organization.
  • Responsible for project functions included but not limited to project execution, engineering process flow, etc. are all coordinated to meet the project(s) goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).
  • Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
  • Participate in and provide risk assessments and actively manage the risks of the projects.
  • Prepare project estimates, budget, schedules and execution plans.
  • Preparing the engineering budget, project schedules and project control budgets.
  • Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project.
  • Maintain effective and on-going communications with engineering, production and other collaborative departments.

Experience Guidelines:
  • BS degree in Engineering and 3 years project engineering experience.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense electronic systems.
  • Experience in NRE planning and execution including qualification testing.
  • Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior colleagues.
  • Comfortable and capable of leading teams.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Capable of reading drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledgeable in EVMS implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Project.
  • Conversant with AS9100/9110 and CMMI Level 3 quality management processes.
